I always like the clean look of a french manicure. It’s a classic nail style that always looks good. Putting a dark twist on something classic like using black instead of white for a french manicure gives a younger, cooler, darker twist to the nail style. But this isn’t enough for a stand out manicure. Keep one of your fingers, preferably the ring or middle, a completely solid color other than black. My manicure pictured below features baby pink on my ring finger to add yet another element of girly to an edgy mani.
